About Me

I am Rachael, a quilt designer, tutor and fabric addict. I live on the New South Wales Central Coast with my very patient husband Andy, and furry four legged helper named Oscar, an Australian Shepherd who occasionally likes to rearrange my fabric stash.  I have been sewing for well over 20 years and my journey into quilt designing and teaching started about 10 years ago.

A day doesn't go by when I'm not sewing or dreaming of new quilt designs. I have a great love of English paper piecing and applique and I'm partial to a bit of fussy cutting. I love my quilts to have an aged look - as though they have been around for a while - whether they be made from reproductions or pretties. I hope you'll join me on my journey.
